TEST TOMORROW: NO CALCULATOR!

Tomorrow is round 2 of our test, this time WITHOUT a graphing calculator! It is equivalent (point wise) to today's test--so if you didn't feel great about today, study extra hard and get an A tomorrow!

Tomorrow's (Thursday) test is all open ended. Here's a breakdown of what you need to know:

  • Define the 6 trig ratios in terms of SOHCAHTOA and in terms of X and Y
  • Determine which quadrant an angle is in (like our MC)
    • Ex: sinA>0, secA<0: Which quadrant is A in?
    • Study the 15 multiple choice questions we handed in Tuesday!
  • Evaluate trig ratios using special triangles
    • Ex: sin(pi/6) = ?
    • Study our 4.2 quiz that we just took!
  • Sketch angles in standard position
    • Given radians, degrees, or radians "without pi"
    • Find a complement and supplement of an angle in radians
    • Find a positive and a negative coterminal angle in radians
    • Study our 4.1 take-home quiz! (the first trig quiz we took!)
  • Find the six trig ratios for an angle, given a triangle
    • Use Pythagorean theorem to find the third side, then define the 6 trig ratios using SOHCAHTOA
    • Study our 4.3 quiz!
Good luck! And as always, email with any questions!

Also...use this worksheet to study (answers are provided too!)
