You MUST SHOW WORK or RECORD NOTES ABOUT HOW YOU FOUND YOUR ANSWER in order to receive homework credit! If you simply circle an answer for each question you will not earn homework credit!

We will have a 15 minutes quadratics quiz on Thursday!
- One question: given an equation, find the x-intercepts, vertex, and y-intercept
- Next question: an application problem like those in our homework and classwork slides
- Find max/min values, find where a max/min occurs, find x-intercepts (in context)
- Use your classwork and homework from the weekend to study!
- Here are the answers to each of the application problems from Friday/Monday's classwork:
- Find a: a = 2
- Number of units for the minimum cost = 1222.22 units
- The football problem:
- a.) 1.5 (or 15) feet
- b.) 104.02 feet (or 117.51 feet)
- c.) 228.64 feet (or 235.86 feet)
- The revenue problem:
- a.) Revenue for a price of $8 per item = $432
- b.) Price that gives max revenue = $6.25
- b.) Max revenue = $468.75
